Truth

Hurt me with the truth,
but never comfort me with a lie…

  1. With matters of the world and family life,
Its the “intensions” of the human mind that signify,
The extent of the truth from the lie!

Its this thin line that explains,
    Whether conduct was according to dharma or a game;
For reality or truth to be observed right,
You have to delve deeper inside.

    And as truth be told
    We seldom realise,
That truth lies in our universe inside.

With concurrent effort and ‘will’ to identify,
One has to work up the karma by incessant tries!
    By observance of non-violent conduct,
    By redressing unrightful self!
    By renouncing unethical tasks,
    By following Arihanta’s pledge!
By recurrsive Lord’s darshan and puja,
Can one work towards achieving truth and dharma!

  2. True to itself is Shakespear’s hamlet “To thine ownself be true”. As much as “non-violence” is essential to enliven the purified existence, so also is “honesty with oneself” one of the first steps towards realising oneself into achieving uplifted level of consciousness.
