आचार्य श्री कुंदकुंद ने आत्मा को “राजा” कहा है भगवान नहीं, क्योंकि राजा कर्ता/भोग्ता होता है, भगवान नहीं । उनके एक हजार वर्षों बाद आचार्य अमृतचंद्र सूरी ने आत्मा को भगवान कहा ।
