कोई कषाय एक मुहूर्त तक नहीं रहती । तथा संज्वलन को छोड़कर बाकी तीनों मुहूर्त से ज्यादा समय के लिये होती हैं । दोनों कथन सही है – पहला उदय की अपेक्षा, दूसरा वासना काल की अपेक्षा ।
