I think that truthfulness and goodness are more or less synonymous.
If someone is truthful, he/she inadvertently will be good and someone who is good cannot be anything but truthful.
Yes, to thine ownself be true! (as quoted by shakespear).
Pretense and lie fall on the same line of the spectrum.
The moment you lie, you lose a part of yourself..
Very true.. and without truth, life mein peace hi nahi ho saktee.
Hamesha jooth bolne se pahle10 bar sochna padta hain…aur sach bolne ke liye koi planning nehi chahiye…
Well, what you ‘ve mentioned above seems to be true for people who make truth as a benchmark and consider lie to be malefic. Not all people live by the above-said level of consciousness.
On the contrary the later category of people do not make truth as a benchmark. Such people inevitably lie without the slightest feeling of guilt or fear. (Seldom realising that every lie takes them a step further away from who they really are!!).
This message is specifically targetted at knowing the fact that truth and honesty go hand in hand…and its very very important to be honest to oneself, let alone to the rest of the world. For, lieing to oneself makes one his own worst enemy!
How many of us are really even honest with ourselves? And all said and done, the first step in this direction would be to know who we are. Its not about what we think of who we are, its about who we really are!! For thinking ourselves of what we are when we really aren’t, is also a lie!!
Other than that, I d like to think that taking people for granted is a lie! Disrespecting anyone is a lie! Ego is a lie! Infact it is self deceiting! Judgemental and assuming tendencies is also a lie!
Yes, 1) It is for those-who are GOOD or wants to be GOOD.
2) Best return of HONESTY is for ourself.
3) % of honest is detoriatig ,but number of honest persons are enough to sustain the system.
4) Judgement of others is always by out side, which can not be correct.
