जैन दर्शन में अवतार नहीं, “अब-तार”(तर) है। तरने के लिए पहले हमको भक्त बनना होगा, भक्त जो गुरु और प्रभु को चाहे। फिर शिष्य बनेंगे, शिष्य जिसे गुरु और प्रभु चाहें।
