श्रावक श्रमण की तुलना में अधिक सत्य बोलते हैं।
कैसे ? श्रावक से पूछो, “बुख़ार है?” श्रावक- “है।” किन्तु श्रमण कहेगा, “नहीं।” “पर शरीर तो गरम है!” “शरीर को होगा, पर मुझे (आत्मा को) नहीं है।”
श्रमण का उपयोग शरीर में न होकर आत्मा में ही रहता है।
