भरत व कैकयी को सम्यग्दर्शन तो पहले से था, पर मुनि और आर्यिका दीक्षा लेने पर वह सम्यग्दर्शन निर्मल या परम सम्यग्दर्शन हो गया । क्योंकि चारित्र के बिना सम्यग्दर्शन, परम सम्यग्दर्शन नहीं कहा जा सकता ।
