देव साधारणत: अकाल मृत्यु में निमित्त बन सकते हैं, पर क्षुद्र आयु (1/24 Second) वालों के अकाल मरण में कारण नहीं हैं । क्योंकि यह किसी भी जीव की जघन्य आयु है, इससे कम आयु हो ही नहीं सकती है ।
